I was not the varsity football player or track athlete in high school. I was not the All-American division one wrestler, nor did I win any medals for sports achievement. Although I enjoyed playing basketball when I was younger, I never consistently stayed active.
I am grateful to be able to have the opportunity to share my experience. An experience that many people can relate to. Once I finished high school, and started college, I was on and off (more off than on) with living a healthy lifestyle. Exercising was minimal, and my habits left a lot to be desired. I drank, I smoked, I partied, I was overweight. Thru much of that period, my diet was bad. I seldom found the desire to do much in the form of physical activity.
It was not until a few years ago that I really changed how I lived and who I was. Little things added up, and before I knew it, I am where I am today - happy, healthy, and wealthy. I've lost weight, I've gotten stronger, but most importantly, I've become a better human. The journey was not easy. It was nothing like I've ever done in my previous stints at "working out" or going on a "diet". Thru these last few years, there were many aha moments, and I've really come to appreciate failure and learning, as well as embracing every opportunity.
So I am here now, excited to share my experience and knowledge with you. As someone that's lived thru the good and bad, I understand what it's like and how it feels for many people that are struggling to become healthier. If I can do it, you can do it. Thank You.
